About Boroughly

Boroughly helps you choose where to live in and around London based on your life — not an estate agent's listings.

Most property sites start with the home. Boroughly starts with you: your budget, the people and places you need to stay close to, whether you need a halal butcher or a Lidl or great schools within walking distance, and whether an area actually feels welcoming — including how diverse and LGBTQ+ friendly locals say it is.

It was built by [Your name], a London-based software engineer, after going through the search personally and finding that the answers to the questions that mattered most were scattered across Reddit threads, crime maps and word of mouth. Boroughly pulls them into one map.

Boroughly is free to use. It's funded by clearly-labelled advertising and partnerships; advertisers never influence area scores or community grades.

Where the data comes from

Prices are area averages calibrated to HM Land Registry / ONS figures (April 2026). Scores are indicative composites and community grades are user-submitted opinion — always visit an area at different times of day before deciding.
