Short version: we collect as little as possible, and nothing personal is required to use Boroughly.
Usage analytics. With your consent, we use analytics to understand which features are used (pages viewed, buttons tapped). This is aggregated and not used to identify you.
Community grades and comments. If you post a grade or comment on an area, that content is public by design. Please don't include personal information in comments.
Boroughly Plus. If you buy Plus, payment is handled entirely by Stripe - Boroughly never sees or stores your card details. To provide access we store your email address and the plan and status of your membership (active or cancelled), so a Plus feature can check it's really you. This is kept only for as long as you're a member and is never sold or shared beyond Stripe.
Advertising. Boroughly currently carries no advertising. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
We don't sell personal data, we don't require an account, and your search criteria (budget, places, drawn zones) stay in your browser.
Essential cookies keep the site working. Optional cookies (analytics, ad personalisation) are only set after you choose "Accept" in the consent banner, in line with UK GDPR and PECR.
Under UK GDPR you can request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold. Contact us at boroughlywebsite@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our response you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
